Category:

Age: Cretaceous, Cenomanian
Locality: Taouz, Morocco

Measurements: 11.2 cm long
Weight: 78 g

This is an outstanding, completely natural and large tooth of a Spinosaurus theropod dinosaur.
The tooth surface and the fine ornamentation are absolutely gorgeous.
The tooth was not broken, it just seems that a very thin crack was filled: it does not run all around the tip of the tooth (see photos 7, 9, 11).
Part of the root is also preserved.
This is a superb piece for collectors which has been hand selected.
