Locality: near Taouz, Morocco

Measurements: 10.8 cm long
Weight: 84 g

According to American palaeontologist Paul Sereno, Carcharodontosaurus was « Africa’s answer to Tyrannosaurus ».

– glossy and smooth enamel with beautiful reticulated patterns

The tooth shows signs of gluings.
