According to American palaeontologist Paul Sereno, Carcharodontosaurus was « Africa’s answer to Tyrannosaurus« .

This fantastic vertebra is large and well-preserved, and shows beautiful colors.
There are signs of small restorations and remains of matrix rock that was stabilized.
